UPA 10th edition rules apply
LMRA ULTIMATE SPECIFIC RULES:
Team captains are responsible for reporting scores on a weekly basis via Leaguerunner.
Score
Games are to 11, the first team to reach 11 wins even if it is only by 1 point.Timeouts
2 timeouts per game, max 1 per half.Promptness & Defaulted Games
A default occurs when one team cannot field at least five players within 15 minutes of the official start time. Winners of defaulted games receive a score of 6-0 and no SOTG rating is given.Time Cap Rules
Time cap 65 minutes after scheduled game start time-- finish current point*, add 2 to highest score to achieve new cap.Hard cap 70 minutes after scheduled game start time -- finish current point*, highest score wins.
* finish current point = a point is complete the instant a score is caught
Gender Ratio
Due to the small number of women that have signed up, there is no official gender ratio. However, teams are encouraged to play at least one woman whenever the opposing team fields one woman, but this is not a requirement. Captains must agree upon gender ratio before the start of each game.Qualifying for Playoffs
A player must participate in at least 3 games over the course of the season to qualify to play in the season ending tournament. Players failing to meet this standard can still show up to play in the tournament, but can only play with consent of the opposing captain. The intent of this rule is to avoid participation by high profile players who just want to play in the tournament.Unsportsmanlike Conduct. Anyone deemed guilty of excessive physical and/or aggressive play, such as starting fights, will be penalized. A typical penalty is suspension from the league. No refunds.
Field Setup
It is the responsibility of the home team to set up the field prior to the official start time. It is the responsibility of the visiting team to inspect the set up and approve it. It is the responsibility of all players to make both teams aware of any hazards they observe. Said hazards should be marked with discs.Foot Blocks
Foot blocks are allowed, although the captain's clause can be used to overide this.Ranking of Teams
Teams will be ranked using the following priority:1. Number of wins
2. Head to head games (if 2 teams tied)
3. SOTG
4. Number of wins amongst tied teams (if 3 or more teams are tied)
5. +/- amongst the tied teams (if 3 or more teams are tied)
